Welcome to the website for the Granite Education Association. We are the association that represents educators in the Granite School District. We believe in advancing the professional and economic well being of our members. We also believe in promoting public education. We are a local affiliate of the Utah Education Association and the National Education Association.
We Believe
The Granite Education Association is a non-profit, volunteer organization consisting of over 2,000 members. We are here to provide not only a voice for teachers, but a campaign for greater investment in public schools.
We believe in a collective voice which advocates for educators, students and our profession.
We believe strong advocacy for educators creates good learning conditions for students.
We believe public education is the cornerstone of our republic and all students have the
right to a quality public education that develops their potential, independence, and character.
We maintain the highest professional standards, and we expect the status, compensation, and respect
due all professionals.
We believe partnerships with parents, families, communities, and other stakeholders are essential to
quality public education and student success.
We believe we improve both our professional status and the quality of public education when we unite
and advocate collectively.
Please join Granite Educators and add your voice to the District's only recognized association of educators. The Granite Education Association.
