Office Max Honors Teachers
Pat Winegar
Three
Granite School District teachers received an award along with
$1,000 in school supplies on October 6. Officials from Office
Max and the national Adopt-A-Classroom Affiliation surprised
Pat Winegar
at Pleasant Green Elementary School.
She was among 1,000 selected nationwide who were nominated by
their principals for the A Day Made Better program.
The classroom
gift included a digital camera, printer, swivel chair and a
large box of essential classroom supplies. All teachers at their
schools received coupons for classroom supplies.
Pat Winegar was
described as one of those who always goes above and beyond the
call. She serves as a mentor to Pleasant Green’s new teachers
and is always well prepared and organized with her lessons.
